Cannot open my C drive with double click?

I cannot open my C: & D: drive....if i double click it , a message "Please go to control panel to install and configure system components" pops out.

Even if i right click and use the open option, the same message pops out.

Can only right click and use the explore option to access my C:& D: drive.

Experience this after a cleanup on a trojan virus....suspect i deleted something but do not know how to recover it. Did a recovery but no help, problem remains....

Please advise

Also, then right click the "my computer" icon on your desktop and click "manage". Then go to "disk management" and screw around with the options you find there. If anything looks wrong there, fix it.
